This book was written and published in the 1980s, after I retired from a successful career with Nevada Bell, a subsidiary of AT&T. I like to admit that it is the story of a "non-famous, non-infamous" 20th Century American Citizen. The original was bound as a set of three volumes. On this site, each volume has been divided into two parts, with photos in between, and assigned to its own page.
VOLUME ONE Describes my life and times growing up in New England, and a tour of duty in the U.S. Navy.
VOLUME TWO Covers my fifteen years in Elko County, Nevada, where I worked, married and started a family.
VOLUME THREE Describes our lives in Sparks, Nevada, where we continued to raise our family and I worked at Nevada Bell Headquarters until retirement.
